Positive attitude vital for satisfying retirement

Bahala Na – Come What May

Getting older has never been easy. Even with all of the modern day gadgets, stimulants, and scientific advancements, we are not the person we used to be. Albeit we have grown as individuals due to our many life experiences and in most cases accept and even appreciate our aging, the many challenges encountered can be daunting. It is important to maintain a positive attitude.

There is a Filipino saying “bahala na” which translates to “come what may”. Basically accept what life gives you, appreciate living, and keep smiling no matter what.

Not an easy task but if we can get to that point, a satisfying retirement is not so impossible as we sometimes fear.
